BH4U is a counselling service which provides counselling for children, families and schools. We work with children from the age of 4 upwards. We can also provide counselling and support to parents and schools.
We are a non-profitable organisation and a social enterprise.
We treat all clients with respect and equality
We will endeavour to help facilitate the well being of all our clients.
To encourage all clients to grow and reach their full potential.
All members of the Brighter Horizons 4U team have been DBS checked and are fully insured.
We abide by the ethics set out by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
We understand how important it is for a child to feel safe and comfortable. At Brighter Horizons4U we feel by offering our services to children within schools and children’s centres that it will ease any discomfort they may be feeling. Due to schools being an environment where the surroundings are familiar we believe a child will feel safer.
We are currently working with Sefton and Liverpool schools but we can offer our services throughout the Northwest.
We also recognise that parents may feel they need extra support; due to this counselling may be available to them. We aim to help with any worries they may be having be it linked to problems with their children, pressure of work, emotional problems, bereavement or any other issues.
At Brighter Horizons 4U there are no restrictions on the amount of sessions offered to clients.
A client will initially be offered 6 sessions after which time further sessions will be available if needed. Our service is one-to-one counselling with experienced counsellors and volunteers.
Our one-to one counselling service is provided by fully qualified and experienced counsellors. We all have specialised counselling qualifications specific to working with children.
